In spite of frustrations.

Have you ever made plans so good you thought they couldn’t fail? Maybe you covered all your bases, figured out all the possible contingencies and exigencies, but you still came up short. How do you describe that feeling? Frustrating eh?
It can be really painful when you bend your shoulder and put your best efforts into achieving a goal, then some circumstance beyond your control blows it out of the water. That feeling of frustrated helplessness is an all too familiar one to many hurting people.
Do you remember the tower of Babel? Imagine how they must have felt! What about the Israelites when they went to battle Ai? Their troops outnumbered those of Ai over 5 to 1, yet the battle they thought would be contained in one verse was recorded in two chapters of the bible. If you look further you’ll see Samuel and the king he anointed. He pretty much did all he could to get Saul to succeed, but Saul just didn’t.
It would seem God Himself wasn’t spared of this experience. From the beginning, the first humans He made disobeyed Him due to no fault of His. The Son He sent was killed, and it was also not His fault: He did absolutely nothing wrong. But was God frustrated? Of course not
Looking at the intricate details of a structure alone, you may not appreciate its true beauty until you take a step back and see the big picture.

When people go against God’s plans, He definitely has to stop them. Whether He does it now or later is up to Him, but He will do it, and they will get frustrated. But when God makes plans, they work out. Every single time.
God’s goodness isn’t a variable that is determined by current trends or the limits of human existence. It is an absolute truth that drives all He does.
By just looking at a particular incident in isolation you may be led to believe that God’s plans have failed; but if you would just take a step back and see the beautiful design He is making, your frustration will turn to worship, and your tears will turn to joy!
